cheap cruises, carnival cruise

Cheap cruises--we've all heard of them, but is there really such a thing? I mean, is it worth the effort of searching them out? The answer is yes, there really is such a thing, and sometimes it really is worth searching them out. If you're after names that you recognize (Carnival cruise, Disney cruise, or Princess cruises) you may get lucky--you may find what qualifies as "cheap cruises" if the big players are having a fire sale on extra berths at the last minute, or if they're doing a promotional on a new run, or if they have an excess of seats during an especially nasty hurricane season. And, if you book with a recognized big cruise name, at least you'll have some idea of what kind of quality to expect on your cruise. (I've cruised several times with the big names and never had a bad experience). But, if you book a cruise with a company you don't recognize, or a company that's just starting out, one that no one can evaluate, you may get in line for cheap cruises, but that may be just what you get "cheap cruises" service--service you wish you'd never had!
